Certificate II Retail

The nationally recognized qualification SIR20207 – Certificate II in Retail course is for people who want to work in retail sales and service environment at a junior level. You will learn how to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, apply safe working practices and perform stock control and point-of-sale procedures. You will also learn how to minimize theft, operate retail technology and organize and maintain work areas. This will take place through a combination of individual and team based learning strategies that include practical activities, industry case studies, role plays simulations, projects and assignments.

  • Checkout Operator

Course Structure - This course comprises 9 compulsory units and 5 electives units which make up the requirements units for your SIR20207 – Certificate II in Retail.

Flexible in class room based delivery consisting of 7hrs/day 2 days per week over 15 weeks, with practical placement of minimum 4 weeks 160hrs.
